This grilled lemon basil tofu burger is loaded with fresh basil, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon rind, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic clove, tofu, cooking spray, kalamata olive, low fat sour cream, mayonnaise, hamburger buns, tomato and watercress. Ingredients;

  1. One three cup of chopped fresh basil
  2. Two tbsp of Dijon mustard
  3. Two tbsp of honey
  4. Two tsp of lemon rind
  5. One fourth cup of fresh lemon juice
  6. One tbsp of virgin olive oil
  7. Half tsp of salt
  8. One fourth tsp of fresh ground black pepper
  9. Four minced garlic cloves
  10. One pound of extra firm tofu
  11. Cooking spray
  12. One three cup of chopped kalamata olives
  13. Three tbsp of low fat sour cream
  14. Three tbsp of mayonnaise
  15. Six hamburger buns
  16. Six slices tomato
  17. One cup of trimmed watercress

 

Direction;

  1. Combine chopped fresh basil, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon rind, fresh lemon juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper and three garlic cloves in small bowl
  2. Cut tofu into six slices
  3. Pat with water towel
  4. Put tofu slice on jelly roll pan
  5. Brush tofu slice with lemon juice
  6. Let stand tofu for one hour
  7. Put tofu slice on grill rack
  8. Coat with cooking spray
  9. Grill for three minutes
  10. Brush tofu with reserved lemon juice
  11. Combine one minced garlic clove, sour cream, mayonnaise and chopped olive in small bowl
  12. Stir them well
  13. Spread one and half tbsp mayonnaise over bottom half each hamburger bun
  14. Top with one tofu slice, one tomato slice, half of bun and two tbsp of watercress
