This is traditional falafel recipe with green onion, cheese, cilantro, tortilla chip and cumin. Ingredients;
- fifteen ounce or one can of pinto beans
- two ounce or half cup of shredded jack cheese
- one fourth of baked tortilla chip
- two tbsp of chopped green onion
- one tbsp of chopped cilantro
- one eight tsp of ground cumin
- one big egg white
- one and half tsp canola oil
- one fourth cup of peeled avocado
- two tbsp of chopped tomato
- one tbsp of chopped red onion
- two tbsp of non fat sour cream
- one tsp of fresh lime juice
- one eight of salt
- six inches of pitas
- four thin slice of red onion
Directions;
- put pinto beans into medium bowlk to prepare patties.
- Mash with fork
- Add some cheese and five ingredient egg white
- Stir well
- Shape bean into four patties
- Put oil into big nonstick skillet
- Heat over medium/high heat
- Add patties into pan
- Cook for three minutes
- Put peeled avocado and five ingredients, salt to prepare spread
- Stir it well
- Put one patty in half pita
- Spread two tbsp avocado and spread patty in every half pita
- Top with green and onion
