Cranberry Jalapeño Granita – spicy and sweet ice dessert recipe

Cranberry Jalapeño Granita Recipe is favorite recipe for adult with low calorie cranberry juice component. This sweet ice pop is loaded with cranberry juice cocktail, sugar, mint sprigs, jalapeno pepper and fresh lime juice.



  1. 2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  2. 1/3 cup sugar
  3. 4 (5-inch) mint sprigs (about 1/2 ounce)
  4. 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced
  5. 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice



  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan;
  2. bring to a boil.
  3. Cover and remove from heat;
  4. let stand 15 minutes.
  5. Strain cranberry in 11 x 7-inch baking dish;
  6. discard solids.
  7. Cool to room temperature;
  8. stir in lime juice.
  9. Cover and freeze for about 45 minutes.
  10. Stir cranberry mixture every 45 minutes.
  11. Remove mixture from freezer;
  12. scrape entire mixture with a fork until fluffy.
