Black Bean Burger – Low calorie weight watcher recipe

It is classic burger with low calorie black bean. This black bean burger is delicious and healthy if you serve it with onion, avocado slice, Monterey jack cheese, tomato, spinach leaves and hot sauce spiked ketchup. Black bean burger will give you 4 smart points with one patty serving size.



  1. Two ounce of hamburger bun
  2. Three tbsp of olive oil
  3. Two tsp of chopped garlic
  4. One can of black bean
  5. One tsp of lime rind
  6. Three fourth of chili powder
  7. Half tsp of chopped fresh oregano
  8. One fourth of salt
  9. One big egg
  10. One big egg white



  1. Put bun in food processor
  2. Process four times until crumbs
  3. Remove to bowl
  4. Combine garlic, one tbsp oil, bean in food processor
  5. Pulse eight time and make thick paste
  6. Scrape bean into bowl with bread crumbs
  7. Stir in rind
  8. Divide bean into four equal portion
  9. Shaping each side with three inch patty
  10. Heat two tbsp of oil in big non stick skillet over medium/high heat
  11. Add patties into pan
  12. Reduce heat to medium level
  13. Cook for four minutes
  14. Turn patties carefully
  15. Cook for three minutes
