Beef Stroganoff


  • 6 [six] Oz of lean sirloin steak
  • 1 1⁄2 [one and half] cup of fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1⁄2 [half] cup of sliced onion
  • 3 [three] of minced garlic cloves
  • 1⁄2 [half] cup of beef broth
  • 1⁄4 [one fourth] cup of tomato sauce
  • 3 [three] tablespoon of dry sherry
  • 3⁄4 [three fourth] teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1⁄4 [one fourth] teaspoon of salt
  • 1⁄4 [one fourth] teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1⁄3 [one three] cup of low fat sour cream
  • 1 [one] cup of dry cooked medium egg noodles
  • 2 [two] teaspoon of chopped fresh parsley

Cooking process;

  • First trim steak to reduce fat
  • Slice steak into one fourth inches diagonally; wide strip
  • Put non stick skillet in over medium/high heat
  • Add some steak and cook for three minutes
  • Drain your steak well
  • Put skillet and heat in medium/high heat
  • Add steak to big skillet
  • Add some onion, sauté, mushroom and garlic for two minutes
  • Add some beef broth, tomato sauce, dry sherry, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, sour cream, egg noodles and fresh parsley; boil them
  • Cover all ingredients; reduce heat; simmer for fifty minutes until meat look like tender
  • Remove all ingredients from heat; stir it with sour cream
  • Sprinkle with parsley
